Keeping the tradition alive through concerts, sessions, and performances

Welcome to the Shamrock Traditional Irish Music Society

  • Concerts

Our concert series features renowned musicians from across the United States, Ireland, and around the world.

  • Sessions

Join our weekly and monthly sessions; all ages and skill levels are welcome.

  • Shamrogues

Our concerts are funded largely by proceeds from our in-house, all-volunteer performance group, the Shamrogues.

Dedicated to the preservation and promotion of traditional Irish music and culture

We receive funding via cultural grants as well as donations from traditional Irish music enthusiasts like you. Donations are gratefully accepted and help to underwrite our concert series, with the goal of keeping ticket prices low. Please consider STIMS in your annual giving and estate plans. You may send tax-deductible donations to Shamrock Traditional Irish Music Society or STIMS, P.O. Box 486, Fairfield, CT 06824.

Membership in the Shamrock Traditional Irish Music Society, and the Shamrogues group in particular, is open to all who are interested in learning, teaching, performing, preserving, and listening to traditional Irish music — all ages and skill levels are welcome. Join us every Wednesday night from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Gaelic-American Club in Fairfield, 74 Beach Road, Fairfield, CT.
